Brent Shelton

Venue Manager | Lead Planner 

"Every day brings a different challenge and a unique learning experience. I would say that's my favorite aspect about working at the barn. That, and forming close personal connections with our guests."

With a deep passion for hospitality, Brent ​manages the venue while elevating its commitment to providing guests with high-end services. Treating the venue as more than a destination, but a total escape from the outside world.

Makayla Perkins

Assistant Venue Manager | Lead Planner

Known for her hospitable and personal attitude, Makayla joined our team last Fall and is an invaluable member of our team. Working closely with the entire team, Makayla helps make our event days seamless.

Adrianna Weldon

Office Manager | Lead Planner

Starting on our bar team, Adrianna made herself at home on the planning team. She prides herself on her individuality, setting herself and the product of her work out of the typical box. Her creative approach and thoughtful attention to detail consistently elevate each project, bringing fresh perspective and energy to the team while inspiring those around her.

Samantha Alexander

Director of Equestrian Operations

A lifelong horsewoman, Samantha combines her passion for horses with a strong foundation in project management and operations. At The Historic Wakefield Barn, she oversees daily equestrian care and barn operations.

Her thoughtful approach creates a space where horses are well cared for, and every experience feels intentional, organized, and effortless.

Dana provides our guests with an unparalleled sense of ease, which comes from her extensive experience planning weddings and events at our venue. She's attentive, authentic, and a natural planner.

From event to office days, Nathalie helps our entire team stay organized, positive, and on time. Her love of events shows through all of her work, and guests love every time they see her at the venue.

Bringing her personal experiences working in hospitality to the venue, Estrella elevates every space she enters. Over the years, Estrella has worked closely with the entire venue team, filling in wherever needed and supporting guests at every event.

With an extensive resume, Noir elevates all of our marketing with finesse. Much like George, he's a great team lead whom guests enjoy working with.
