George
George, our stoic Percheron, brings both commanding presence and unmistakable personality to Wakefield Barn. Once a working carriage horse, he has embraced a slower pace of life and now spends
his days in the pasture, keeping a watchful eye on his fellow horses with the quiet authority of a seasoned elder.
True to his noble nature, George still enjoys the occasional leisurely stroll around the grounds with his devoted owner. His striking appearance and patient temperament make him a natural favorite at venue events, where he has a way of becoming the most photographed guest in the room.
Noir
Noir, our striking Friesian cross, is equal parts elegance and personality. Known for his playful spirit, he keeps things lively among his pasture mates and brings an energy to the barn that is entirely his own. Currently in training, Noir is developing into a promising dressage horse and approaches his work with
genuine enthusiasm, occasionally turning his attention to jumping with equal flair.
With his charm, versatility, and unmistakable presence, Noir is quickly becoming one of Wakefield Barn's most memorable residents.
Mandatory
Luck is Mandatory, affectionately known around the barn as & "Mandatory," is our most seasoned resident, having called Wakefield Barn home for over a decade. A thoroughbred by breeding, Mandatory began his career on the racetrack before transitioning into a distinguished second career in dressage. Now enjoying a well-earned retirement, he spends his days at a gentler pace, relaxing in the pasture among his companions.
A gentle and beloved presence, Mandatory is also known for making special appearances at weddings, where he delights guests with his calm demeanor and quiet, effortless charm.
